Choose an addon for the job

For your first addon, start with one problem. If a build stops killing bosses, try a damage meter. If you lose your cursor or miss health changes, start with a cursor helper. Replace the whole HUD only when you want to rearrange several parts of the interface.

The projects below are made for Azeroth Survivors. They are in-game addons, separate from browser extensions. You do not need them to use our build guides or play the original game.

Damage & run stats

AZS Spell Meter

By kex0

/azsm

Find out which spell is carrying your damage.

Separate spell contribution, the last boss fight, healing and damage taken. Open multiple views when you need to compare sustained clearing with boss damage.

DPS uses a configurable time window. Match that setting between tests; a short burst and a whole-run average answer different questions.

Package & install notes

Release file: AZSSpellMeter-*.zip

Choose the release ZIP, not GitHub's Source code archive. The folder must be named AZSSpellMeter. Log out and back in after installation. Use /azsm resetpos if the window is off-screen.

Damage & run stats

RunPace

By Hearts47

/rp

Spot a run that is falling behind.

Track kills and XP per minute, with adjustable low-health, enemy-count and incoming-boss alerts. The recent pace covers 60 seconds; the separate average covers the run.

Settings are available during a run. Gaining several levels at once can slightly undercount XP per minute, according to the author.

Package & install notes

Release file: RunPace.zip

Put RunPace in the game's AddOns directory, restart and check that it is enabled. Open /rp during a run to adjust alerts rather than relying on the defaults.

HUD & interface

SurvivorsDragonUi

By migwynkriid13

/sdui

Arrange the HUD around the information you use.

Move and resize action buttons, unit frames, boss bars and run tracking. The author also documents guardian tracking, cache guidance and named layout profiles.

Start with one HUD replacement. Overlapping boss bars, combat text or minimap markers are harder to diagnose when several packages control the same elements.

Package & install notes

Release file: SurvivorsDragonUi.zip

Windows: extract the folder into AddOns. Browser: install the ZIP in Options → AddOns. Enable it and enter a run, then open /sdui. The author's Windows updater is optional; the ZIP is the manual installation route.

HUD & interface

Survivor UI & Survivor Plates

By morderous

/sui opt

Adjust the combat layout and nameplates separately.

SurvivorUI provides configurable frames, action bars, combat text and run panels. SurvivorPlates is a separate nameplate component; you can choose either or both.

Nameplates start hidden in the documented setup. Check the Nameplates options before treating an empty screen as a failed installation.

Package & install notes

Release file: SurvivorUI-v*.zip

For the author's manual Windows route, copy the chosen component folders into benilla-config/AddOns and restart. Select the addon ZIP rather than SurvivorUI-Installer.zip when installing by hand; the launcher is optional.

Loot & builds

Azerloot

By Kindagrey

/azl

Keep the next item choice in view while playing.

An in-game loot reference with class builds, a wishlist and run history. Use the wishlist to track the pieces you want instead of reopening a build guide after every offer.

Check the addon's own release notes when loot or encounters change. A reference database can lag behind the game even if its interface still loads.

Package & install notes

Release file: Azerloot-*.zip

Extract the Azerloot folder into benilla-config/AddOns, with Azerloot.toc directly inside. Open the book using /azl or its minimap button; /azl settings opens the settings.

Cursor & map

Cursor Reticle

By Muffla

/cr

Keep your cursor and health visible in a crowded fight.

Add a cursor circle, dot or crosshair, then optionally show health, shields and a selected spell's cooldown near it. Individual elements can be switched off.

The cooldown selector learns spells you have had on the current class. A spell missing from that list is not necessarily an installation problem.

Package & install notes

Release file: CursorReticle.zip

Use the release ZIP. Extract it into benilla-config/AddOns for the native client, or install the ZIP from the browser's AddOns menu. It loads when you next enter the world.

Cursor & map

LuckyOdds

By cadoky

/lucky

Find caches and guardian lairs while tracking Luck.

Show map markers for caches and guardian lairs alongside an estimate of upgrade-card rarity odds. The panel can be moved and hidden during a run.

The author calls the odds approximate, not the game's exact roll. Disable duplicate cache markers in other addons if the same chest appears twice.

Package & install notes

Release file: LuckyOdds-v*.zip

Extract LuckyOdds into benilla-config/AddOns and restart. Use /lucky for the panel, /lucky chests for cache markers and /lucky lairs for guardian markers.

Install on Windows

  1. Open the chosen author's release page and download the addon ZIP named in its package notes. GitHub's automatic Source code archive can have the wrong outer folder; an installer or updater is a separate option.
  2. In the game, open Options → AddOns → Open AddOns Folder. This takes you to the active installation's directory, useful if you have more than one game copy.
  3. Extract the addon folder into that directory. The .toc file belongs directly inside the folder with the matching name. For example: AddOns/AZSSpellMeter/AZSSpellMeter.toc.
  4. Check the addon in the AddOns list. Follow its author's reload instructions: some load when you next enter the world, while others ask you to relog or restart. Check it in a run before changing several more addons.

The documented manual Windows location is benilla-config/AddOns beside AzerothSurvivors.exe. Keep each addon in its own folder. For a two-component package such as Survivor UI, the component folders sit beside one another inside AddOns.

Install in the browser

Open Options → AddOns and use the ZIP installation control, then select the downloaded addon ZIP. SurvivorsDragonUi and Cursor Reticle explicitly document this browser route. Enable the installed addon and enter the world again as its author instructs.

Use the game menu to import the ZIP; a Windows path such as benilla-config/AddOns is not a folder you create inside your browser. If the author only documents native installation, check its current browser support before assuming the same package works there. The presence of an addon in this directory is not a browser compatibility claim.

Read a damage meter usefully

A meter should help you make the next decision. Check boss damage if a boss survives too long; check spell contribution and uptime if the whole run feels slow. Large area damage against weak enemies does not establish strong single-target damage.

With AZS Spell Meter, the recent DPS window and a whole-run average measure different things. Keep the same window, class, map, difficulty and similar permanent gear when comparing two builds. Record the talent allocation and change one skill or item at a time.

Check pet and proc attribution before treating a missing row as zero damage. Some triggered damage is grouped under the spell it casts. Look at the spell's breakdown, then compare the result with the build's skill priorities and the run-comparison checklist.

Fix a missing or conflicting addon

SymptomCheck next
Not in the AddOns listOpen the folder from the game. Remove an extra outer repository folder and confirm the matching .toc file is directly inside the named addon folder.
Enabled, but nothing appearsEnter a run, then try the documented command. RunPace settings and some panels only operate during gameplay. For AZS Spell Meter, /azsm resetpos recovers an off-screen window.
Two boss bars, meters or cache markersDisable one overlapping component, then re-enter the run. Start with one HUD and add other tools one at a time.
A command no longer works after updatingCheck the author's release notes, package layout and supported game build. Replace only that addon's folder using its update instructions.
The game fails to load with the addon enabledDisable the new addon from the menu and retry. Report the game build, addon release and exact error to the author. For failures without addons, follow the loading guide.

Addon layout settings and character progress are different. Do not delete the entire benilla-config directory to repair a single addon. Before clearing browser data or moving installations, export your game save.

Downloads, updates and compatibility

The download buttons open each author's latest release page, where you choose the named ZIP. This keeps the destination useful as releases change; it does not mean every new release has been tested here. Read the author's changes and game requirements before updating.

Azeroth Survivors uses its own addon APIs. An addon written for another World of Warcraft client is not automatically compatible. Optional launchers and Windows updaters are not required for the manual ZIP steps above. Game downloads belong in the download guide; creator announcements and community projects are on the community page.
