Official website and Discord
The original Azeroth Survivors game is at wow.aethus.pl. Its launcher links the Azeroth Survivors Discord and the creator’s Windows download. Use these for developer announcements, access problems and current game links. This website is an independent guide.
For browser play or Windows extraction, use our download and installation guide. A search result containing “official” or the game’s name does not establish who publishes it; start from the creator’s address when choosing a download.
Addons and damage meters
Addons extend parts of the game’s interface. They are separate from this guide’s talent planner, browser bookmarks and game save files. The following projects have public author documentation and specific uses.
More columns → Swipe, or focus the table and use the arrow keys.
| Project | What its author documents | Where to begin |
|---|---|---|
| AZS Spell Meter — kex0 | In-game spell damage statistics, including damage share and DPS views. It uses the game’s AZS_GetMeter API. | Read its README and install the addon folder using the layout below. |
| Survivor UI — morderous | A fan-made interface package with damage meters, unit frames, action bars and the separate SurvivorPlates component. | Open the author’s Releases page and follow the manual installation instructions for the ZIP package. |
These are community projects, not Blizzard World of Warcraft addons automatically proven to work in this game. Check the project’s required game APIs and current installation notes before updating. A project appearing here means its documentation was reviewed; it does not mean we ran the addon on every client.
Install AZS Spell Meter
The author documents this native-client flow:
- In the game, open Options → AddOns → Open AddOns Folder.
- Place the
AZSSpellMeterfolder inside that directory. - Confirm that the result is
AddOns/AZSSpellMeter/AZSSpellMeter.toc. An extra outer ZIP/repository folder can prevent discovery. - Log out and back in so the addon loads at login, then check that it appears.
The meter depends on the game exposing its meter API. If it does not load, check the required client support and folder nesting before assuming the character’s build is broken.
Install Survivor UI
The author provides a manual ZIP installation as well as an optional launcher. For the manual route, the README describes copying SurvivorUI and SurvivorPlates into benilla-config/AddOns and restarting. The components can be installed separately. Follow the current README for your client; these filesystem paths are not browser installation instructions.
Browser addon installation
The community-hosted Addon API notes document a ZIP installation option under Options → AddOns for the browser client. Use the addon package described by its author. Do not try to recreate a Windows folder path inside the browser; if the installation control is missing, check the current client and the project’s supported platforms.
Use a DPS meter to improve a build
A damage meter helps answer which spells contributed during a run. It cannot, by itself, tell you which class is best: the zone, difficulty, enemies, time spent travelling and available talents all change the result.
Compare the same class, zone and difficulty with similar permanent gear. Record the talent plan and change one choice, then inspect spell contribution, damage uptime and whether you survived the dangerous part. A high total from weak enemies does not prove good boss damage. If a pet or triggered effect is missing, check the meter’s attribution rules before treating the missing row as zero damage.
Our run-comparison checklist explains what to record; class builds provide the talent and skill context for interpreting it.
GitHub and Azeroth Survivors Together
The creator’s launcher did not link an official game-source GitHub repository when checked. The repositories below belong to community authors; they should not be presented as the creator’s official source code.
Azeroth Survivors Together is a separate community co-op project with its own launcher/update process and supporting files. Its author also publishes a related source repository. Read the project’s requirements and release instructions as a separate setup.
Together is not a required installation step for the Co-op menu described in our original-client guide. If you are already looking at the game’s lobby screen, start with hosting and joining a lobby. If you deliberately use Together, identify that project when reporting errors so advice for the two setups does not get mixed together.
Reddit discussions and gameplay videos
The creator-linked Discord is the verified community destination above. Reddit posts, Twitch streams and YouTube videos can be useful for seeing how a build plays; a popular clip is still one run with particular talents and gear.
When following advice, note the class, talent allocation, zone and difficulty. A label such as “best Hunter build” is incomplete without the skills and triggers it relies on. Our tier list source notes identify the ranking we use, and the linked class guides explain the trade-offs. We have not verified a creator-owned subreddit or Twitch channel to list as official.
For community reading, this Reddit player discussion includes device experiences. The AzerothSurvivors Twitch tag is a stream directory; live availability varies. Both are community destinations, not developer announcements or verified device-support lists.
Trainers, cheats and save editors
These searches describe different tools. A trainer or Cheat Engine table changes a running game; a save editor changes exported progress. A damage-meter addon measures combat, and the talent planner on this site only prepares a build. Neither unlocks classes or modifies your account.
One public project is yssadora’s browser save editor, whose page offers .sav import, changes to talents, equipment and zone progress, and a modified export. It is an unofficial editor, not a cloud backup service. We reviewed its published interface and documentation, but have not verified its current compatibility or its claim of local-only processing.
We have not verified a current trainer or Cheat Engine table. If your goal is to move or restore progress, use the game’s save export and import tools first. Keep an untouched export before experimenting with edits: import replaces progress, and unsupported values may produce a rejected or inconsistent save.
For “unlock all” searches, the progression guide explains the ordinary class, zone and Heroic requirements. Download names, screenshots and forum claims alone are not proof that a tool works with your client.
