Export your current progress

  1. Open the game in the browser profile that contains the progress you want to keep.
  2. Open Options → Saves and choose Export Save.
  3. Locate the downloaded .sav file. The browser integration gives it a timestamped AzerothSurvivors filename.
  4. Keep a separate copy somewhere you can find again. Export again after meaningful progress; an old export cannot contain later runs.

The checked Saves description covers heroes, class zone access, gear, talents and the Codex. Exporting is a backup step; it is not a request to reset your account.

Move to another browser

  1. Export from the original browser first, and keep that file unchanged.
  2. Open the original game in the destination browser. If it already has progress worth keeping, export that account too.
  3. Use Options → Saves → Import Save and choose the intended file.
  4. Read the replacement confirmation. Continue only if you intend to replace the destination progress.
  5. Check your heroes, gear and zone access before removing either backup.

The client says import replaces all progress with the file’s account. It does not offer a merge in the flow reviewed. Cross-version or cross-platform compatibility was not exercised in this review; retain the original export if a destination rejects it.

Use an automatic backup

The v0.125.0 menu describes an automatic backup for every hour played, retaining the latest five. Look in Options → Saves for the available entries and their timestamps.

These are limited recovery points, not a guarantee of a cloud copy. Export the current account before restoring an older one so you can return to it if you chose the wrong timestamp. A restore intentionally returns you to earlier progress.

Guide bookmarks are separate

Saving an article on this website stores only the guide URL in this browser. It does not back up your characters, read your game account or synchronize a game save.

Interface and talent descriptions checked against the original web client v0.125.0. Recommendations are editorial; no combat benchmark was performed.

Game client and version recordGameplay reference: original client v0.125.0, rechecked October 29, 2026. Live v0.127.0 was also observed that day; interface descriptions were compared, but talent execution rules and combat balance were not revalidated for the newer build.
